Dan Day-Robinson is Lynton and Lynmouth’s official Town Crier, a Lynmouth resident and local raconteur.
Appointed by Lynton and Lynmouth Town Council, Dan makes public proclamations and announcements for the local community. It is an unpaid, voluntary role, bringing a traditional welcome and a carrying voice to local life.
The role is independent of political or partisan causes: the Town Crier does not offer opinions on public or private matters, make political announcements or act as a lobbyist.
